In Dilworth you’ll find historic bungalows, welcoming front porches, stately oak trees along majestic boulevards, and trendy restaurants, Starbucks, cafes, retail shops & galleries. Just minutes from Uptown Charlotte, Dilworth is a popular area as you will see in the charts below.
While it’s true that homes close to a Starbucks cost more than the national average, it’s also true that they appreciate faster than the average home!
The REALTOR scoop:
Homes in this area are some of the most popular in the city for character and charm. An easy commute to the financial core of uptown also continues to drive demand here, and developers have taken note. Newer homes built in the bungalow style with all new home features are quickly being built to stay on top of demand. Most of the homes in the area are 2,000-4,000 square feet. Note that historic Dilworth homes have small closets, commonly lack garages and lots can be small. Larger lots provide great opportunities to add garages and in turn can be pricier.
